From here on, a 'client' or 'student' is deemed anyone who books a Soulworks Essential Therapies training, workshop or other services whether onsite at Soulworks premises, online using ZOOM or offsite. Training and workshops include group or one-on-one.
Client Appointments - Bookings and Cancellations
Appointment bookings can be made in person, via telephone, email or online using the Soulworks booking system. Once an appointment has been added, the client will receive an automated booking confirmation email. Soulworks will send the client a courtesy reminder via SMS 3 to 5 days prior to the next scheduled appointment date. The client is required to action the SMS with a confirmation or change of appointment time and date.
Should the client require an appointment cancellation or change, a minimum of 2 business days is required to avoid a cancellation fee. The client can call, email or SMS Soulworks to advise of the change. The cancellation fee is 50% of the session rate which will be charged at the next session fee.
Training and Workshop Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation of the training or workshop by the client, our policy states that:
Half, One or Two Day Training:
A full refund of the course deposit will be provided if Soulworks receive notification of cancellation at least 7 days prior to the course date.
A 50% refund of the course deposit will be provided up to 5 days prior to the training date.
Cancellations received less than 5 days before the training, are not entitled to a deposit refund.
The above three points do not apply to Soulworks gift vouchers.
A full refund will be provided on the actual cost of the workshop, provided we receive notification of cancellation at least 7 days prior to the course date.
A 50% refund will be provided up to 5 days prior to the workshop date.
Cancellations received less than 5 days before the workshop, are not entitled to a refund.
Cancellation by Soulworks Essential Therapies
Soulworks Essential Therapies reserves the right to cancel any training or workshop if insufficient registrations are received. Should this occur, those who are registered will be notified and their training or workshop fees refunded in full. Soulworks Essential Therapies will not be held liable for any claims arising from a course or workshop cancellation.
In the event of a course or workshop requiring rescheduling due to instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances (eg COVID lockdown), the cost of the training or workshop will be refunded in full, or alternatively rescheduled at a mutually acceptable date.
Non-attendance and Rescheduling
If a student fails to turn up to a training or workshop, no refund will be payable.
If a student is sick on the day of their training or workshop, and can support this with a medical certificate, they will be transferred to an alternate date at no charge but must be available to complete the training or workshop within 3 months of the original course date.
If the client has failed to attend due to any other reason, no refund will be payable and a $50 fee will be charged on rebooking. Training or workshop transfer will be granted for loss and bereavement and illness with a doctors certificate.
An alternate person may be substituted prior to the commencement of training or workshop, at no additional cost.
Soulworks Essential Therapies aims to be flexible and accommodating with all policies and recognises that in some cases there are exceptional circumstances in which a charge may not be incurred. This discretion applies to cancellations, non-attendance and substitution, as listed above. Exceptional circumstances could include serious illness or injury and death in the family.
All course training fees are due 3 days prior to course commencement. A deposit fee will be required to book a Soulworks Training session. If the deposit is not paid, a seat will not be held.
For workshops, the full fee is required at booking to hold the seat.
